RAY MARSHALL Ray Dean Marshall, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully June 2, 2015. He was born Feb. 19, 1927, in Montpelier, Idaho. Ray served in the U.S. Army at the end of World War II, later making his career in the aerospace industry working for Lockheed Missile and Space until his retirement in 1993. Ray enjoyed many years working in various capacities within youth sports, being named WFFL (football) director of the year in 1983. In later years, his interest turned to motor boating and golf. Ray was a delightful friend to many, always willing to lend a helping hand. Ray is survived by his loving wife, of 60 years, Carolyn; sons, Steven, David (Dawneen), James (Mary Kay) and Richard (Carrie); nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Viewing will be 1-2 p.m., Saturday, June 6, with a funeral service following, at the Hillpointe LDS Chapel, 9011 Hillpointe Road in Summerlin.
