Raymon L. Goff, "Ray," 76, of Las Vegas, was born July 24, 1936, in Forest, Ind. Our Saviour and Lord called him home Feb. 8, 2013. He was a man of great faith, integrity and loyalty to family and friends. After earning his BS degree in engineering from Purdue University, he served as an engineering officer in the U.S. Coast Guard, attaining rank of lieutenant commander. He obtained 168 worldwide patents during his 40 years in the automotive and transportation industry. Before retiring in 1966, he was senior vice-president of sales and engineering of Lectron Products, Inc. Ray was a resident of Las Vegas since March 2007. He is survived by his wife, of 54 years, Martha; sons, Mark Goff of Plano, Texas and Kurt Goff of Buffalo, N.Y.; and grandson, Nicolas. Services will be private for family only.
