Renna "Penny" Moore

Renna “Penny” Sorenson Moore, 80 years old, passed away on Wednesday July 4, peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends.  Penny was preceded in death by husband, Ray, parents; Evan and Cleona Sorenson; brothers John and Knute Sorenson.  She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Bender of Knoxville, TN; Pamela Moore of Las Vegas, NV; son, Dennis Moore of Las Vegas, NV; grandsons, Captain Michael Bender of Fort Riley, KS; Staff Sergeant Cody Bender of Fort Belvoir, VA, both of whom serves in the United States Army; great grandson, Tristan Bender of Fort Riley, KS and Precious Dog Oreo.

Penny, a retired banker, was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV.  A lifetime resident of Las Vegas, NV and a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she was a loving mother, wife and grandma that will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her.
