Richard Lee Baca was born October 20, 1967 to Vicky Baca and Richard White. He grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the home of his grandparents, Ursulo and Rosina Baca. In school, he excelled in sports, especially basketball and football, and he was a lifelong avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He moved to Las Vegas, Nevada as a teenager, and graduated from Bonanza High School. Richard alternately lived in Las Vegas and Albuquerque, working as a store manager and, later, as a brick mason, specializing in maintaining ore smelting equipment at gold mines throughout the west. His health declined in recent years, and he went to be with His Lord on July 30, 2023 in North Las Vegas. Richard was preceded in death by his grandparents Rosina and Ursulo Baca, aunt Cecilia Mignault, and brothers Eric White and Joshua Jones. He is survived by his wife Tamera, children Andrew (Sherita) Roybal, Heather Baca, Victoria Baca, Jacob Baca, and stepson Tyler Tesarski; grandchildren Rosina, Andrew, Gabriel, Matthew, Melina, Angelina, and Myles; parents Vicky (John) Jones, Richard (Jan) White, sister Christina (Leon) Ennis; sisters-in-law Ashley Peterson and Amanda Jones; many nieces and nephews; and a few dogs.
