Richard Howard Reynolds Jr.

Richard Howard Reynolds Jr was born on January 17, 1954 to Richard Reynolds Sr and Betty Jean Reynolds. Richard was introduced to the Lord at birth. He accepted Jesus Christ early in life and attended church frequently with his family.

Richard attended public schools in San Pedro and Los Angeles, California. Richard completed his secondary education at Fremont high school in Los Angeles.

Richard met Theresa Compton during his teen years. To this union they welcomed two daughters and a son. Tieshia, Ebonie & Richard III.

Richard worked several years with Los Angeles Unified School District. He also was truck driver with various Freight companies throughout the Los Angeles area. Richard relocated to Las Vegas several years ago and continued driving trucks and hauling freight across multiple states for weeks at a time. He had been a truck driver for over 40 years.

On May 15, 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Richard departed this life. This is not a time of sorrow and pain. He is now resting in the loving arms of God. He was loved by those who knew him and will be greatly missed. Most of us have shared something special and unique with him. Let us all remember Richard and the good times we shared. He is gone from our lives, but not from our hearts.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Reynolds Sr & Betty Jean Allen; Step fathers, Roosevelt Johnson Sr, & Roy Allen, and brother, Dana Uvoyd Reynolds.

Richard leaves to cherish his memory; Children: Tieshia Reynolds, Las Vegas; Ebonie Reynolds, Palmdale, CA; Richard (Elizabeth) Reynolds III, Moreno Valley, CA; Grandchildren: Ericka, Gerald, Takar, Takarra, Takoya, Keith, Keisha, Dahlia, Elizabeth Crystal; Brothers: Terris (Wanda) Reynolds, Las Vegas, NV; Anthony (Janice) Johnson, Las Vegas, NV; Roosevelt (Roushaun) Johnson, San Diego, CA ; Greg Reynolds, Vancouver, WA; Sisters: Regina(Nehemiah)Banks, Moreno Valley, CA; Audrey Rellis, Los Angeles, CA; Belinda Reynolds, Phoenix, Arizona; Others: nine great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
