Richard Stevens

Richard "Rick" J. Stevens, 68, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, after a long battle with cancer. Rick served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and retired from the DM&IR Railroad in Duluth, Minn. Rick loved working on small engines, motorcycles and anything else in his garage. He loved his family and friends deeply and would always help whomever he could. He is survived by his loving wife, of 30 years, Nancy; children, Gene and Richard Jr.; stepchildren, Denise, Randy and Allen; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. A small service was previously held Aug. 28. His ashes will be taken to Duluth next spring for a military funeral for all friends and family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
