Robert Frank Lagerman, 81, a retired maintenance worker of Las Vegas, passed away Oct. 7, 2011. Robert served in the U.S. Navy. He was born March 9, 1930 in Salina, Kan., and was a 36-year resident of Las Vegas. Robert joined the Navy at the age of 16, and was discharged in Philidelphia where he married Doris Wood and resided there until 1960. He moved back to Salina unitl 1975. He moved to Las Vegas where he remarried and worked as a security guard and a mintenence worker until retiring in 1992. Before being injured in an auto accident he was a scratch bowler and an avid pool player. Frank was preceded in death by his father, Riley; mother, Agatha; first wife, Doris; sisters, Genevieve Medlin, and Norma Kickhafer. He is survived by wife Merna; daughters, Carol Henderson and Susan (Skip) Smith; stepdaughters, Diane Hurt, Eileen (Dave) Duncan, and Lynne Hewitt; 12 grandchildren, and numerous greatgrandchildren. No services will be held.
