Robert Stopa
August 31, 1939 — June 11, 2017
Robert Joseph Stopa Sr., age 77, who passed away June 11, 2017, at his home, in Henderson. He was born Aug. 31, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Joseph and Alice Stopa. He was also preceded in death by his twin sister, Roberta; He leaves behind his wife, of 44 years, Mary (Story) Stopa; daughters, Lisa and Susan of Chicago; sons, David, Joseph and Robert J. Stopa Jr.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joseph and John; sister, Bernadine; and brother, Raymond. Service was private at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City.
