U.S. Army, Retired Robert R. Vuocolo, 83, of Las Vegas, passed away June 10, 2012. He was born Dec. 13, 1929 in Brooklyn, N.Y., and he was a resident of Nevada for 22 years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. He was a projectionist in movies and TV. He was in the company of many stars. He made true friends while working at the New York racetracks. He loved keno and watching classic movies. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pasqvale and Lillian Vuocolo. He is survived by the love of his life, wife of 36 years, Mercedes; daughter, Constance and Raymond Passero; grandchildren, Laura and Matthew; adopted family, Eva Davis, Dannie, and Linda Watson. We will miss your humor and love. Funeral services are 10 a.m., Friday, June 15, at Bunkers Eden Vale Cemetery, 1216 Las Vegas Blvd. N.
