Ronald Lee Winker

RON WINKER It is with sadness we announce the passing of Ron Winker, of Las Vegas, Aug. 23, 2013. He was born Sept. 27, 1954. Ron grew up in Spokane Wash., and graduated from John Rogers High School in 1972. Ron has spent the last 40 years in the tire business, where he worked as a money market manager for Bridgestone Americas Tire. He had been the general manager of GCR Tire for the past 11 years in Las Vegas. Ron lived his life with great integrity. His kind heart and smile will always be remembered. Ron is survived by his wife, Joan; daughter, Cindy; grandson, Anthony; stepson, Jeff; and sister, Pam. Memorial services will be 2-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N., Las Vegas, NV 89101.
