Ronnie Lee Kintzler

February 18, 1936 — March 4, 2026

Las Vegas

Ron Kintzler, age 90, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He was born on February 18, 1936, in Litchfield, Nebraska. Ronnie grew up in Wyoming where he helped his family on their farm before later moving to Southern California. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Over the years Ron wore many hats as a business owner. He began working on his own in California where he owned and operated service stations. After moving to Las Vegas, NV, he and his wife Roz continued their entrepreneurial journey together, later relocating to Jean, NV, where along with their family ran the garage and AAA towing service at POP’s Oasis.

Later, the family moved to Spring Creek in Elko, NV. There, Ron and Roz briefly owned and operated the Stageline Bar & Restaurant before starting the family construction company, Kintzler & Sons. Working alongside their 3 children and their spouses, the company specialized in building custom homes.

Upon Ron’s retirement from construction and Roz from her florist business, Razberries & Roses, the couple spent their time enjoying life on the road visiting friends and family in many different states before settling down in Las Vegas.

Ron’s greatest joy in life was his family. He especially loved watching and supporting his grandchildren and great-grandchildren in their daily lives and activities.

Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Roz Kintzler; his children, Sheri Martin of Elko, Nevada; Christy and Doug Moore of Nampa, Idaho; and Rick Kintzler of Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren and a great-grandfather to nineteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two grandsons, Daniel John Valona and Justin Michael Valona, and a great-grandson, Tristan Lee Valona.

A memorial service will be held on March 28, 2026, at Bunker’s Eden Vale Mortuary, 925 N. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, Nevada 89101.

Ron will be remembered for his love of family, his service to his country, and the many memories he leaves behind with those who knew and loved him.
