Rose Marie Page

May 30, 1960 — August 15, 2011

Rose Marie "Rosie" Page, 51, a Clark County office assistance, of Henderson, passed away Aug. 15, 2011, at her home surrounded by her loving family and faithful dog, Patches, by her side. She was born May 30, 1960, at St. Rose de Lima Hospital in Henderson, and was a lifetime resident of Southern Nevada. Rosie had a tremendous zest for life and inspired everyone who knew her in many ways, including how she battled cancer over the last 10 years of her life. Her dad, Glenn Page, liked to say "she fought the good fight...she finished the race...she kept the faith!" Rosie attended St. Joseph's Elementary School and Bishop Gorman High School and loved sharing pictures and memories of those early years with family and friends. She was always very involved with school activities and especially loved participating in sports. In her adult years, Rosie's passion for sports continued, along with her love of Jazzercise, the Rose Society, the great outdoors, conservation and protection of animals. Rosie was also active with the various churches she attended over the years and, most recently, was devoted to Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Rosie cherished her Catholic faith. Rose was very proud of the 31 years of service she spent with Clark County. She loved the jobs in her early career with the County, including the Public Administrator's Office, the Office of the Coroner, and most recently with the Department of Aviation. Rosie's greatest gift to the world was her never-ending love of God, family, friends and country. She was a guiding force behind family events and holidays and had a special way of remembering everyone individually at those times. She was creative and talented and renowned for the beautiful packages she put together for those she loved. She will be missed. Rosie was preceded in death by her mother, Theresa Anna (Cornell) Page. Rosie is survived by her father, Glenn Page Sr.; and her siblings, Glenn Page Jr. (Pam), Rita Page Reid (Bill), Robert Page (Sheri) and Theresa Ware (Greg). Rosie is also survived by the joys of her life, her nieces and nephews, Gregory Ozuna (Christina), Anthony Ozuna (Amy), Monika Havens (Sean), Melissa Page, Aaron Page, Matthew Ware (Briana), Sarah Burdette (Jon), Emily Ware, Rachel Ware; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Gabrielle Ozuna, Kyra Havens, Bailey Burdette, Charlotte Ware and Krew Havens; her stepnieces and stepnephews, Carey Kaplan, Casey Reid (Angela), Melanie O'Keefe (Graham), Tiffany Elliott (Scott), Nina Berner and Carissa Berner; and her stepgreat-nieces and stepgreat-nephews, Ashlen Reid, Rylen Reid, Sean Havens Jr., and Hunter Elliott. Rosie was also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved greatly.
