With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Salesi Amipeli Tonunga He-lotu Savou as known as Charlie, who went on to be with our Heavenly Father on February 15, 2026 at the age of 27.

Salesi was born on September 22, 1998 in Pago Pago, American Samoa, and passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and connection to everyone who knew him.

Salesi proudly served as the treasurer for Taulama-ki-Itaniti youth, where he demonstrated dedication, responsibility, and a genuine commitment to his community. He had a passion for gaming and could often be found enjoying time immersed in his favorite games along with his gamer peers. He also loved music, singing, and anime. Salesi had a natural gift for bringing people together. His joyful spirit and easygoing nature made him someone others were always drawn to.

He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Sioeli and Lisita; his sisters, Jonoa and Paea; his brothers, Kepu and Sione; his nephews, Ax and Prayz; and his niece, Hannalora. He is also remembered by extended family members and many dear friends whose lives he touched.

Above all, Salesi will be remembered for the love he gave to his family and friends, his integrity, his laugh, and his boldness. His memory lives on in the lives he touched, the laughter he shared, and the bonds he helped create.

He will be deeply missed and forever cherished. Game on Esi for you’ve been sought fit for the kingdom. Rest well in our Heavenly Fatherʻs loving arms, until that glorious morning.
