Sandra K. Grimmis

Sandra Kay Grimmis, 68, a homemaker, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully, Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013. Born March 8, 1945, in Pontiac, Mich., she was a 44-year resident of Las Vegas. Sandra was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin and friend. She had a very nurturing personality and was known for her sense of humor. She was a very generous and giving woman who often put others ahead of herself. She will be missed dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, of 37 years, Gordon Albert Grimmis. Sandra's survivors include three daughters and their spouses, Deborah Patrias, Wendy (Cristopher) Tomlinson, Dawn (Justin) Hardy; nine grandchildren, David, Lisa, Scott, Jennifer, Brooke, Kyle, Ryan, Cameron and Zachary; and three great-grandchildren, Andrew, Anthony and Alexander. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 25. Celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, both at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N., Las Vegas, NV 89101.
