Sharon Gayle Dempsey

Sharon Gayle Dempsey went home to be with the Lord on December 17th 2023. She passed peacefully and was not alone as she stepped across the bridge between this life and the next.

Sharon was born in Las Vegas August 18 1945. She Graduated from Rancho High school. Sharon worked various jobs in sales until she found her forever home working for JCPenneys. A job she truly loved for 25 years, she sold window coverings and drapery. She was well loved by her customers and co-workers. She always went the extra distance to make sure her customers were well taken care of and always followed through.

She loved her sons, music, dancing and her pets. Her favorite holidays were Christmas and Thanksgiving. Her signature dish was the stuffing and deviled eggs. They were so good! Sharon also loved a good steak dinner, so much so that she requested one to be engraved on her headstone! She loved to participate in our lives and regularly showed up at our jobs. Mom was cool. Mom was our friend.

Sharon had a good life, full of love, friends and family. Of course as life so often is, it’s a mixed bag, Sharon experienced troubled times like so many of us do. She always faced those times with her chin up. She did this for us. Times aren’t always good but they make us tougher. Those darker moments were shared together. She always said “I Love You” as we left the house every day and at the end of every phone call.

The toughest time of our life is when she left us on December 17th.

We miss you so much…

Sharon is survived by her two sons, Mike and Ron. Her Sisters Janet and Susan. Her nieces and nephews, Anne, Julie and Theodore. Her Cousin Ralph.

Sharon was preceded by her parents Ted and Muriel, her sister Kay. And so many more.
