Sharon M. Wood

SHARON WOOD Sharon May Wood passed peacefully July 14, 2015, in her home, at the age of 77. Sharon was born Jan. 27, 1939. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dirk Wood. She is survived by her children, Christian and his spouse, Sarah Benevidez, Charles Jr., Michael, and Tracy and his spouse, Gail Cornwell. Sharon was the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren. Upon retiring from her retail career, Sharon stayed active with her church, many other charitable activities, as well as being a caretaker for elderly Alzheimer patients. Sharon prided herself on her grandchildren. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 21. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 22, both Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd N. Burial to follow after services at Eden Vale Cemetery, 1216 Las Vegas Blvd N. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
