Shaun David Langdon, 28, of Las Vegas, passed away just after 10 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013, doing one of the things he loved most ... "being awesome." Shaun was born May 22, 1984, in Las Vegas, right into the arms of his dad, Don Langdon. From his mom, Sue Langdon, Shaun learned the art of Taekwondo. He earned his first degree black belt by the time he was eight years old and was a bronze medal winner at the ITC world championships. Shaun graduated from Cimarron Memorial High School in 2002 and then continued his education at the College of Southern Nevada. At CSN, Shaun worked very hard to earn his EMT-Basic, Intermediate, Paramedic and ultimately his CCT Paramedic certificates. Shaun worked as paramedic at American Medical Response, in the emergency room at Desert Springs Hospital and most recently, as a CCT Paramedic at Mike O'Callaghan Federal Hospital. Shortly after finishing paramedic school, Shaun finally became an adult under the tutelage of his blushing bride, Karli Langdon. Shaun and Karli were truly made for each other, this was obvious to anyone who ever knew them or saw them together. Shaun loved a lot of things, in addition to his love for his wife and his family, Shaun loved bikes, barbecuing, brats, boobies, bromances, bars, Baja, beer and bonfires (especially at Mt. Charleston). Shaun did not want a traditional service, he said that he wanted one heck of a Mexican fiesta, so that is what he will get anytime after 4 p.m. Sunday, May 5. If you knew Shaun and wish to attend, call (702) 265-6715 for directions.
