Mr Shigeru Murata

Shigeru Murata, peacefully passed away Feb. 28, 2015. He was born Sept. 3, 1921, and was an 87-year resident of Las Vegas. Shigeru was a World War II veteran with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team. Shigeru is survived by his son, Curtis; daughter, Teresa; daughter-in-law, Magali; four grandchildren, Amber (Joe), Erika, Gabriella and Danielle; and three great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Mia and Lucas. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, March 6, at Bunker's Memory Garden Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road. Memorial gathering will follow.
