Silvia Ilona (Nos) Robertson quietly passed away after battling cancer on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at the age of 69. Born in Frankfurt, Germany, on May 15, 1943, to Elisabeth Nos and Albert Schiffer, she later moved to the United States as an Air Force bride with her husband. Ilona managed home life through numerous military moves across the Atlantic, from coast to coast, and including Hawaii. She was a member of the German-American Clubs in Dover, where she served as membership secretary, and Las Vegas, Nevada. Her interests have included bowling, embroidery, raising toy poodles and African Grey parrots, and wolf preservation. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, John Harold “Pete” Robertson of North Las Vegas, NV; her daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Scott Field of Cramerton, NC; her son, Michael Robertson of Dover, DE; her brother Gerhard Nos of Frankfurt, Germany; and her grandsons, Kyle Field, Kory Field, and Louden Robertson. Beloved surviving family members also include her sister-in-law, Jane Fitzgerald, and nephews Scott and Eric Watschinger. A memorial service will be held on Monday, 1PM, June 4, at Bunker Memory Garden Chapel and Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road, Las Vegas, NV 89129.
