So much to say about mom. Mom was a wonderful soul. She always wanted the family to be there for each other even until her last days, she made it a point to bring my sister back from Michigan. While in the hospital she said I need to bring your sister back home. Once my sister got here, mom was ready to go home to Heaven. Following day she took her last breath peacefully. Mom was a very strong and generous woman with a big heart. She was so strong she endured the pain she had with her cancer we all never knew about. I was blessed that I was able to bring her home and show her the love and appreciation she deserved for 10 days. She helped those who needed help, she raised 8 children and with the help of my father we were all brought here from the Philippines 39 years ago. Mom also worked very hard to provide for her siblings and families back home for a while. She welcomed everyone into our home. Mom was an amazing chef for the family. I learned a few dishes from my mom and wish so much that I would have learned more. May you Rest in Paradise Mama till we meet again. Our heart aches but is also relieved that you are no longer in pain. Rest now Mama.
