Stephen Warren Williams was born January 7, 1950 in Indianapolis, Indiana to John Warren and Gertrude Ada Williams.He grew up in Boulder City, Nevada and graduated from BC Jr-Sr HS in 1968. Stephen joined the Marine Corps and served honorably from 29 July, 1969 – 11 Aug, 1971. While serving in Vietnam, he earned the National Defense Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device and a Good Conduct Medal.Since his discharge, he has lived in Henderson, Nevada and Las Vegas Nevada and worked mainly in the construction trade.Stephen passed away on November 6, 2015 at Sunrise Hospital.He was preceded in death by his parents, half-sister Patricia Jones, half-sister Wanda Meyer, half-brother John Keith Williams, and his wife Lindy Williams.He is survived by his sister, Pamela Laudenslager of Carthage NC, his son, Stephen Dryden of Dallas TX, a half-sister, Shirley Perkins-Smith of Henderson NV and 24 nieces and nephews, most living in the Southern Nevada region.
He will be interred at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.
