Suzanne Young Jones

Suzanne Young Jones, 62, of Las Vegas, passed away Sept. 24, 2013, after battling brain cancer. She was born April 14, 1951, in Mount Vernon, Wash. She attended K.O. Knudson school, and graduated from Valley High School in 1969. She earned associate of arts degrees in graphic arts, graphic design, and computer graphics. She also designed the family's Geodesic Dome Home. She was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Young. She is survived by her mother, Maude Conner; and sister, Lynn Watson. She was the beloved wife of George "Rabbit" Jones; and the devoted mother of Chris, Matt, Wesley and Rachael Jones, and Shelly Hutchings. Sue was also the adoring grandmother to Trevor, Zella, and Kali Jones, Carl and Kaitlyn Morris, and Anya, Isabel, and Edward Hutchings. She was blessed with three amazing in-laws, Mary Jones, Diana Jones, and Matthew Hutchings. She will be sadly missed and forever in our hearts. Services will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N.
