Suzette M. Gridley

Suzette Gridley, 67, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013, at 2:20 p.m., at her home in Henderson. Suzette was preceded in death by her loving husband, of 11 years, Asahel C. Gridley of 11 years. Suzette is lovingly remembered by her five children and their spouses, David Baumhardt, John Baumhardt, Sherry McConnell, Sandra Territo and Karen Adams; grandchildren, Ryan, Kara, Samantha, Michelle, Justin, Kelly, Erica, Brittney and Emily; one great-grandchild, Alex; sister, Lorene Garland; and niece and nephew and their spouses, Toni Huck and Frank Garland. Suzette was born March 29, 1946, in Rochester, Mich. She was a mother and homemaker and worked at multiple other jobs. Suzette enjoyed life, the sun, butterflies, angels and loved to play Bingo. Visitation will be noon-4 p.m. Monday, May 13, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, at Gridley-Briggs Cemetery, 2023 Highway 99, Gridley, Calif., with Reverend Rick Cunningham officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the City of Hope Duarte, Calif., or a cancer research center of your choice in the honor of Suzette Gridley.
