Thomas Edwards, 70, of Las Vegas, passed away at home Sunday, July 13, 2014, surrounded by family. He loved hunting, fishing, reading, watching television and heckling his family. He was an honest, straight-forward man who took great joy in being a grouse. A Las Vegas native, Thomas was born Feb. 23, 1944. He lived in Las Vegas his entire life. Thomas is survived by his wife and partner, of 25 years, Gricelda; his daughter, Amy; his four stepchildren, Benita, Jasmine, Norberto and Paula; and multiple grandchildren. Visitation will be from noon-1 p.m. Friday, July 18, with funeral services following, both in the chapel at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Burial will follow services at 2 p.m. Thomas will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
