Our dear mother, grandmother, sister and friend Thora Leavitt Hardy Roholt passed away on November 24, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Thora was born in Mesquite, Nevada and lived most of her life in Mesquite and the Las Vegas Area. She lived in Salt Lake City from 1956 to 1962. Thora was a waitress for 55 years at local restaurants and in Salt Lake City.
Thora was preceded in death by her father Earnest Hyrum Leavitt, Mother Frances Woodbury Leavitt Harper, her sister Leathra Leavitt Hardy, brothers Merrill Leavitt and Muray Harper, and her beautiful daughter Sandra Lee Hardy Woodruff.
She is survived by her daughter Brenda Hardy Lang of Las Vegas and son Kerry LaMar Hardy of Bloomington, Indiana; sisters Alta Leavitt Luke of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Ruth Harper Beaumont of Las Vegas. 3 grandsons Ricky (Trohe) Lang, Jason (Kelly) Lang and Brian (Cheryl) Woodruff; 5 great grand children Kalarie Brusch, Tanner, Macy Belle, Zachary and Austin Lang, and many nieces and nephews and special friends.
Thora will be set to rest next to her daughter and parents at the Mesquite Cemetery.
