Travis L. Muse Jr., 68, of Las Vegas, NV passed away January 18 at 4:20 AM at the Odyssey Harbor House Hospice. Travis was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on September 25, 1944 and is preceded in death by his parents Travis Muse Sr. & Ellen Beatrice Kelley. He attended Yukon High School in Yukon, OK before going into the Army, then held jobs including tour bus driver at the Grand Canyon, security officer, and truck driver.
Travis was married to Stefanie Farrell on March 19, 1983 in Reno, NV. He got sick at 44 years old and had to get a heart transplant on June 16, 1991, but through miracles of modern medicine and his Lord Jesus Christ, Travis survived 21 ½ years with his new heart. There were struggles but he fought a good fight and is at peace with his Savior in Heaven. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Stefanie and 5 children; Michael Mills of Alaska, Robert Mills of California, Jerry & Tralina Fuller of Las Vegas, Jonathan & Laura Muse of Henderson, NV and Sabrina Muse of Las Vegas, 5 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, and 1 great granddaughter.
