Troy Lee Coker Jr.

Troy Lee Coker, Jr. was born June 4, 1952 in Springfield, Missouri and departed this life on August 26, 2011 in his home in Las Vegas, Nevada after a courageous battle with cancer.
Troy was united in marriage to Lilia Guevarra of San Simon, Philippines on December 5, 1973. To this union was born one daughter, Sheila Marie.
After graduation from Hurley High School in Hurley, Missouri, Troy joined the United States Air Force and began his military career of 23 years of loyal service. After retirement, Troy and Lilia moved to Las Vegas, NV where he began working for the United States Postal Service for the next 18 years.
Troy will be greatly missed by his family and friends including his wife of 38 years, Lilia; daughter Sheila Frese, her husband Joerg and step-daughter Julia of Capistrano Beach, California; his mother Helen Viola Inmon of Marionville, Missouri; three sisters, Diana King and husband Jay of Nixa, Missouri; Sherry Eckels and husband Derek, and Velma Boyd and husband John, both of Marionville, Missouri; one brother, Ron Coker and wife Kathy of Hurley, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his step-father Joseph Inmon, sister Veronica Gatton, and niece Cassie Coker.
Visitation will be Thursday Sept. 1, 2011, 4-8 pm at Bunkers Mortuary (925 Las Vegas Blvd North, Las Vegas, NV 89101) and a military service including Military Honors will be held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery (1900 Buchanan Blvd, Boulder City, NV 89005) at
