Vernon "Pat" Kubik

Vernon Jack "Pat" Kubik, 85, a retired risk manager, of Las Vegas, passed away November 28, 2012. He was born Aug. 31, 1927, in Thurston, Nebraska, and was a 60-year resident of Las Vegas. Pat was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice; by his father and mother, Frank and Emma Kubik; by his brothers, Fred, Bill, John, Mike, Ed, Lester, Ted and Kenny; and by his sister, Lillian. Pat is survived by his daughter, Patty (Jim) Ebel; son, Mark (Christine) Kubik; by his two grandchildren, Leo and Emily; and two stepgrandchildren, Ryan and Jordan; and by his sisters, Ann, Ruth and Sue. Visitation will be 12-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, both at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N.
