Veronica Slaughter

Veronica "Ronnie" Slaughter, of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2014. She was born Dec. 22, 1948, to the late Robert Francis and Lovie Lee Parris in Monticello, Ky. She was united in marriage to James Arthur Slaughter, and has lived in Las Vegas for the past 35 years. From that marriage two children were born; Amy Yvette Slaughter and Sean McArthur Slaughter. She was preceded in death by her daughter; as well as many family members. She is survived by three brothers; one sister; a devoted husband; a cherished son; and five wonderful grandchildren. Services will be at 12 p.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd N., Las Vegas.
