Virginia was born in the Philippines during the Japanese occuption of the Islands. It was a time of great struggle and danger, but she had the benefit of parents who were strong willed and devoted to God. she grew up to be a loving and kind woman with an untiring capacity to give generously to others of her talents and her loyal friendships. Virginia was quick tempered and yet ever eager to forgive and forget. She was pure in heart, faithful and devoted to loving care of her husband, Kenneth, for over twenty-four years. She was a loving Mother to her five children and offered up daily prayers for each one of them, even those who preceded her in death. She was greatly loved by a multitude of friends that have had the privilege of knowing her, as well as her surviving family. When Virginia said "I Love You" and she said it often, in her heart, she truly meant it. She will never be canonized by the church, but to all of those who knew Virginia, know that she was as near to a saint as one can become. Her passing from this life to eternal life leaves a deep sadness in our hearts, but yet an unspeakable joy to know that she is with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
