Virginia "Ginny" Amos Zamiska, 82, was born Easter Sunday, April 5, 1931, in Ellsworth Pa., and gently passed into our Lord's Hands Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, in Las Vegas. She was a resident of Las Vegas for 55 years. She will always be remembered and honored as a loving wife, mother, Gram, aunt and friend. As a military wife, her children were born at U.S. Air Force bases in Munich, Germany, Albuquerque, N.M., and Langley, Va. The family was also stationed at Nellis AFB, and Aviano AFB, Italy. Ginny was a blackjack dealer for 25 years at The Mint and Palace Station, retiring in 1997. She was a member of the NCO Wives' Club, Women of St. Joseph, St. Joseph's Seniors, and the "Card Ladies." Loved ones that have gone before her are her parents Liberata and Adam Constable; six sisters and six brothers; son, Gary Amos; and granddaughter, Jennifer Ferrendelli. Ginny will be dearly missed by her husband, of 16 years, Charles "Chuck" Zamiska; daughters, Robin Ferrendelli, Sandra (Ron) Buzbee, Lori (Greg) Falck and Lisa (Clarence) Kennedy; son, Greg (Patti) Zamiska and daughter-in-law, Sharon (Michael) Cunningham; grandchildren, Michael (Shannan), Tera (Keith), Adam, Christopher, Dylan, Lauren, Alex, Danielle, Kayla, Eric and Kylie; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Anthony, Nicholas, Riley, Brendan, Elizabeth and Kaylin. Viewing will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, at St. Joseph, Husband of Mary, Catholic Church, 7260 W. Sahara Ave. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
