Viva Jean Wakeman

Viva Jean Wakeman, 87, a retired banker, of Las Vegas, passed away May 25, 2012. She was born May 28, 1924, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and was a 50-year resident of Nevada. She married J. Stanford Wakeman March 25,1946. Viva enjoyed bowling, traveling and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband; two brothers; one sister; and parents, Adam and Viva Rennie. Viva is survived by her sister, Lois Baker; daughters, Judy (Kurt) Jolley and JoAnn Wagner; sons, Keith Wakeman and Robert (Sheri) Wakeman; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, with services following, both at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N.
