Wanda Pridemore

U.S. Air Force, Retired Wanda Lee Pridemore, 78, passed away unexpectedly Sept. 12, 2012 in Las Vegas. Wanda was born Sept. 29, 1934 in Stigler, Okla. She was a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired from government civil service after 35 years, in 1996. She was the cherished and devoted wife to Alvin B. Pridemore, for 55 years; loving mother to Kelly Geddes, Randall and Brandon Pridemore; grandmother to Breck, Brittany, Brooke, Evan and Meghan; beloved great-grandmother "GG" to Lexi, Bekah, Braven and Connor; and sister to William and Joseph Billy Jr. of McAlester, Okla. She will be a missed generous and dear friend to many. She had a beautiful and generous spirit and a tender giving heart. Wanda was vibrant and vital until her last breath, her sense of humor and devotion to her family will be her everlasting legacy. Our lives have been blessed by her in countless and innumerable ways. Our hearts are grieving, but we will be reunited again. Viewing will be from 9-10:45 a.m., Monday, Sept. 24, with funeral services following, both at the Civic Center LDS chapel, 2401 E. Tonopah North Las Vegas, NV 89030. A luncheon will immediately follow services. All are welcome
