WILLARD HUGHES Willard Hughes, 89, of Las Vegas, passed away May 12, 2015. He was born Feb. 8, 1926, in Mesquite, and was an 89-year resident of Nevada. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and owned Will Hughes Concrete. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Dora Mae Hughes; Willard Bruce Hughes and Gregory James Hughes; wife, Ann Hughes and Mike Darling. He is survived by his sister, Nancy Hughes Nelson; stepdaughter, Kim (Dominick) Baustia); grandson, Dominick Jr. (Julie); great-grandchildren, Angela Hughes, Bryan Hughes, Branden Hughes, Jakob Sullenberger, Jason Hughes, April Hughes, Elijah, DeLeah, Nevaeh and Dominick III; and great-granddaughter, Lily. Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Friday, May 22, with services following, both at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Graveside services following at Eden Vale Cemetery, 1216 Las Vegas Blvd. N. Luncheon following at the LDS Church, 1101 N. Pecos Road.
