William E. Cooper, 92, of Las Vegas, Nevada, entered into rest on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, on December 3, 1932, he was the son of the late James Alander Cooper and Sadie Parker Cooper.
William was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather. A proud patriot, he served his country with honor for 22 years in the United States Air Force. A dedicated veteran and true professional, he remained active in his community throughout his life, including working Clark County Election Department. He was a devoted family man who touched the lives of many through his strength, integrity, and generosity.
He is survived by his daughters: DeBora Cooper, Nedra Cooper, Deion Biobaku, Renée Cooper, and Dondi Turner; eleven grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Wake will be held at the historic Bunker’s Eden Vale Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Boulevard North, Las Vegas, Nevada 89101, on May 29, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place on May 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
