William Hardy

William "Bill" Hardy passed away April 1, 2016, following a long illness. He was born Dec. 4, 1939, in Las Vegas, to Dr. Stanley and Nola Hardy. He graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1958 then attended Brigham Young University and University of Utah majoring in business. He was involved in the real estate business throughout his life. Bill had a great love of people and enjoyed helping in any way he could. His love and knowledge of Las Vegas and the past was shared with both friends and family. He loved telling jokes and sharing his quick wit with all that he met. He is survived by his siblings, Madelyn Schneider, Carolyn Holland, Thomas Hardy and Mary Alice Greenhalgh; his children, Lori Ahlstrom and Kenneth Hardy; and six grandchildren. Viewing will be 12:30-2 p.m. Saturday, April 9, with service following, both at Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Boulevard N. Burial following at Memory Gardens, Cemetery, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.
