William John Moore Iii

William John Moore, III was born on October 10, 1942, in Los Angeles, California to Patricia Mills Moore and William John Moore, Jr.

William was also fondly known as Bill or B.I.

William received his formal education at Las Vegas High School.  He was the Salutatorian of the Class of 1961.  He was a member of the Hustlers Car Club and a member of the LVHS track team.  He also attended The University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado for his freshman year.

Bill was also an active member of the Rosicrucian Order (A.M.O.R.C.).

Bill worked as a salesman at Meyers Service Center and Napa Auto Parts for many years.

Bill never met a stranger.  He was witty and made everyone laugh with his sense of humor. He was a very strong and spiritual man.

On Monday, May 15, 2023, William passed to eternal life at the age of 80 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is preceded in death by both of his parents and his sister, Mary Lynn Snyder.

William leaves precious memories with his sisters – Debbie Scott, San Diego, CA and Ethel (Mark) Parrington, Castle Rock, CO; with his nieces – Lisa Lynn Magness, Las Vegas, NV; Shannon Parrington, Scottsdale, AZ; Allison Parrington, Lewisville, TX; with his nephews – Carl G. Snyder, Tacoma, WA; Mark Snyder, Las Vegas, NV; Sean Hill, San Diego, CA; and Bryan Hill, Encinitas, CA; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Per William’s request, there will be no service.  In lieu of a service and/or flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice in memory of William.
