July 1, 1962 — September 6, 2021

Yasmin Victoria Hannemann, 59, of Las Vegas, NV departed this life peacefully on September 6, 2021 in Baltimore, MD. She was a loving mother, outgoing grandmother, caring sister, thoughtful aunty, and an incredible friend to all. Known to many as Yazzie, Yas, or Aunty Yas. Our Mom was born on July 1, 1962 in Redondo Beach, CA to Max Edward Ali'imatua Hannemann & Moana Lou Kekaikuihala Hiram Hannemann.

Yasmin was very proud of her Samoan and Hawaiian heritage, and she was one of 10 of Max and Moana's children. She began her ramp agent career as an America West employee (later merged to U.S. Airways and American Airlines) at the Las Vegas International Airport in 1999. In 2010, she transferred to the Baltimore Washington International Airport where she remained for 11 years. She was a proud American Airlines employee and used her flying benefits to travel the world to experience new cultures, languages, and people.

When Yasmin was not visiting her many family and friends, she ran many marathons around different parts of the world. She was a single, hard-working mother that raised a beautiful family of 11: seven girls and four boys. Mom is preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Matala Siluafaga Paoakalani Gago; parents Max and Moana; and brother Max Jr.
