Zelma Loye Brown Dimitt, of Las Vegas, lived a full life to age 77 and passed away April 13, 2015. She was born July 15, 1937, in Bell, Calif., to Roy Jones Brown and Zelma Eva Driggs. Loye grew up in American Fork, Utah, and married Charles Price Dimitt Sept. 20, 1957 and was sealed in the St. George LDS Temple. She was a Las Vegas resident for over 50 years, an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a retired beautician. She loved serving in the Las Vegas LDS Temple and will be remembered most for her love and kindness. Her home was always open to others and she loved helping and feeding everyone. She was very talented, she made ceramics, played the piano and organ and made hundreds of quilts, donating them to the church. We love her and will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Dimitt; two children, Brad and Marci; and granddaughter, Denise. She is survived by daughter, Jana (John); son, Jared; brother, Driggs Roy; sister, Lyn (Dennis); grandchildren, Jason (Melanie), Angela (Ryan), Amy (Mario), Alexis (Ben), Sterling, Rachel, Reece, Hayley, Jill, Edward and Isabella; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services are private.
