Elizabeth (Liz) Rogers was born on 27 May 1937 in Del Rio, TX to Ed and Jannie Bass. Sadly, she passed away at 12:08 PM on the 21st of July 2021 leaving behind her loving husband and companion of over 58 years Spencer Rogers Sr.
Liz was a loving and caring person that never met a stranger. She freely gave of her time and energy as a volunteer to many organizations. She volunteered at the Nellis AFB Pharmacy for over 20 years and enjoyed helping people. This was also evident with her passion and love for the Nellis Widows in the Neighborhood (WIN) group that she worked so hard to provide comfort to those in need. As a faithful member of the Nellis Chapel Family, she will be missed as an usher and a member of the Protestant Women of the Chapel. She was always willing to serve in whatever capacity needed. She was a faithful member of Sunday School and was an active participant of the weekly women's bible study.
Liz is survived by her children Charlotte Yeldell OF Del Rio, TX, Anthony (Wendy) Yeldell of San Antonio TX, Spencer (Maria) Rogers Jr. Of Pemberton, NJ, Brian Rogers of Las Vegas, NV, and Monica (Ronald) Gladstone of Las Vegas, NV. She also has 17 Grandchildren and 37
Great-Grandchildren that will dearly miss her.
Liz is also survived by her brothers James, Tommy and Ed Jr. as well as her sisters Jane and Cora. She was proceeded in death by her parents, and her brother, George, Andrew and Robert. She also had a host of nieces and nephews that loves her and will also miss her. In leu of flowers please donate to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Liz's memory.
