Jose "Pingroy" Aflague

Jose Atoigue Aflague born in August 27, 1955 in Guam, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada at Sunrise Hospital. Jose had many names that went by: Husband(My Love), Dad, Uncle, and his most known Pingroy. Born to Jesus and Avelina Alflague, Jose was their beautiful blessing. He start his education in Saint Francis Catholic school in Yona, Guam, where he was to take many lessons from not only his general education topics but his religious teaching as well that would carry him throughout his life. Growing up in Guam Jose quickly chose baseball and football as his favorite sports and of course his favorite teams are none other than THE GIANTS and THE 49ERS! Jose married the love of his life on March 19th, 1997 and together they built a beautiful life and family together while residing in Guam, San Francisco, California and Las Vegas, Nevada; He also served in the military and retired from Eureka Casino in Las Vegas. Jose was an amazing person with a beautiful heart and soul, he will truly be missed.

Those left to cherish Pingyoy’s precious memories are his beloved wife Cecelia Aflague; Children Joseph Quitagua Sr and Rosa Santos (WA)- (Joseph Jr), Kevin and Emily Gogue (CA) – (Jared and Kaleb), Colette Gogue and Cil Cruz (NV) – (Kristopher and Wendy), Alisha Gogue and Brendon Johnson (ID) – (Leisha-Ann, Leighton-John, Peyton Cole, Avery Grace and Ali Bry) Daniel Gogue and Trina Ada (NV) – (Tasi and Isla); His brother and sister in-law Peter and Maria Cepeda and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 11am to 12pm, at Bunker’s Mortuary. The Funeral service will be held January 13, 2023 at Bunker’s Mortuary.

Immediately after services please join the Aflague family for a private reception at 6212 Morning Splendor Way, Las Vegas, Nevada 89110.
