Sunrise: 12-11-1979 Sunset: 02-15-2018 Paula Anne Davis was born 38years ago on December 11, 1979; in Las Vegas, Nevada to the union of LC Davis and June Nelson Davis; she was the youngest of 4 children. As a child, Paula attended Tom Williams Elementary School, Ed Von Tobel Junior High School and concluded her high school years at Vocational Technical High School (Vo-Tech). Following high school, Paula ventured into different projects, most notable attending the Academy of Healing Arts School for a certificate in Phlebotomy.

Her most fulfilling and endearing role, one that she always dreamt of was becoming a mother. Paula sadly leaves behind her two beautiful daughters, Ziay’Lonna June Davis and Yalenna Valentina Roberta Davis.

Paula was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Gershon A. Nelson (Dougee) and her maternal grandmother Petrona V. Nelson, her father LC Davis, her mother June Nelson Davis and her older sister Nicola M. Nelson who now hold her dearly. Paula also leaves behind her brother Anthony Nelson (Tony) and her brother, confidante and great friend, Julian S. Nelson. She also leaves behind her three special nieces, Tatiyana Nelson, Octayvia Sayles, Ali’cia Wixom and her very special nephew Ashton Nelson. Paula also leaves to mourn her great uncles, George Taylor and Robert Taylor and great aunts Cislyn Taylor and Cheryl Taylor; her paternal uncle Albert Davis Jr. as well as a host of Davis family members and friends.

Paula will not only be missed as a great mom and sister, but also a dear friend to many including her “sister-in-spirit” Mahogany Turfley, her good friend and sister-in-law Tristen Nelson and her cousin, who was also her running buddy Nickcole Taylor. Paula will always be affectionately remembered by her “big sister cousins” who will forever love her as their “Little Paula Pooh”. And lastly Paula also leaves behind her special friends from childhood and teenage years Catrina Evans, Dosca Wash and Evelyn Rankin.

We will always hear your beautiful voice within the soft breezes as you sing to us for infinity.

Sing on sweet Paula……
