Tribute

Uva Jane Wooten (Nee Inzer) was born November 12th, 1931 in Bearden Arkansas and was called home into the hands of God at 9:10 p.m., February 7th, 2019. Jane was surrounded by the family who loved and adored her at the time of her passing. "Granny Goose" was a beloved Wife, Mother, Grand Mother, Great Grand Mother, Great, Great Grand mother, Aunt, friend and a beacon of love and spiritual guidance and example to a large and loving family both her own and her church.

Jane was a shining and gifted example of a true believing and living Christian which she exemplified every moment of every day. Jane was dedicated to her service to the lord through her blessed musical talents which she joyfully shared with everyone fortunate enough to know her. Jane was truely gifted as a song writer, singer, and lyricist who's songs have inspiried and filled with love countless family friends and others who have had the joy of hearing her. Her musical talents were shared with many people through the grace of God and the combined talents of her sisters when the 5 J's were formed to serve God through song.

Jane was also proud to say the 5 J's were Jesus who was the reason for the group in the first place, herself , her sisters, Jocie, Jerry, Pastor and friend Jim, and of course, . The 5 J's continued to serve Jesus and Praise his name although he called home Josie and Jerry before Jane. The 5 J's continued to sing God's praises with the help of her beloved neice, Lana, (Jerry's daughter) and Larry, Jane's son. She continued entertaining and praising Jesus through song at Churches, Rest Homes and many other locations wherever there was an ear to hear the lord's voice through song and testimony, including her outreach at a truckstop and hosting bible studies in her home and her selfless hours volunteering at church, rest homes and hospitals spreading her love and compasssion and faith in the lord.

Jane is a loving Mother to Six children, Larry, Debbie, Lynn, Gregg, Lori and Kim. She is also a warm, loving and proud Grand mother to 17 Granchchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and 8 Great, Great Grandchildren. She has been the steadfast lighthouse for her immediate and extended family throughout her life, setting the example for her family to follow and lifting spirits through song and praise.

Jane was preceeded in death by her Husband, Loyd Wooten and her sisters Jocie and Jerry. Jane is survived by her six loving children, by her Son-in-Law Greg Thill, Daughter-in-Law Maureen, Daughter-in-Law Christine and Son-in-Law Charles Weidler as well as her Brother Bobby, his wife Nadine, her sister Jessie, her husband Kenneth and a host of grand, great grand and great, great grand chidren, neices, nephews, cousins, friends and brothers and sisters in Christ.

Services to be held at Forest Lawn Covina Hills, 21300 Via Verde Dr., Covina, CA 91724 on February 14, 2019 3:30pm.
